US International Trade Commission launches 337 investigation on our taurine products

On February 28, 2019, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) decided to launch a 337 investigation on our Taurine products and methods of production and processes for making the same, and products containing the same. The investigation was filed by the US applicants such as Vitaworks IP and Vitaworks on January 30 in accordance with Section 337 of the US Customs Tariff Act 1930, alleging that the above-mentioned products were exported to, imported or sold in the United States and Its production process infringed its patent rights, requesting ITC to initiate a 337 investigation and issue a limited exclusion order and prohibition order. Hubei Yuanda Life Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Hubei Qianjiang Yongan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Jiangyin Huachang Food Additive Co., Ltd. were involved in the case.
