U.S. exempts sodium acrylate/acrylamide methyl propane sulfonate copolymer residue limit requirements

According to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), on July 15, 2019, the US Environmental Protection Agency issued document No. 2019-14522, exempting the residue limit requirements for Acrylamide-Sodium Acrylamidomethylpropanesulfonate Copolymer .

It is understood that Lewis & Harrison, LLC filed an application on behalf of BASF Corporation, and the US Environmental Protection Agency decided to waive the residual limit of sodium acrylate/acrylamide methylpropane sulfonate copolymer in food or feed.

This regulation takes effect on July 15, 2019, and the objection or hearing request shall be submitted before September 13, 2019.
