U.S. LNG sales to Europe grow nearly 5 times

Baku January 25th REPORT.AZ net quoted Reuters news that this winter Europe has become the main buyer of US liquefied natural gas (LNG), the United States sales of liquefied natural gas in continental Europe increased nearly 5 times.

Europe bought more U.S. LNG this winter than South Korea and Mexico. From October last year to January this year, Europe imported 3.23 million tons of liquefied natural gas from the United States, compared with 700,000 tons in the same period last year.

At present, the US supplies natural gas to the European continent, second only to Qatar, the world's largest natural gas producer.
