On February 19, 2020, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice saying that the final anti-dumping ruling on Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) originating or imported from China and South Korea: there is dumping of the products involved in China and South Korea Behavior, and caused substantial obstacles to Indian domestic industry, and there is a causal relationship between dumping and substantial obstacles to Indian domestic industry. Therefore, it is recommended to levy a five-year anti-dumping duty on the products involved in the above countries. The tax amount is the difference between the imported value (landed value, provided that it is below the minimum price) and the minimum price (see the attached table). The case involved products under the Indian Customs Codes 39041110, 39042190, 39042210, 39042290, 39041090, 39049000 and 39049010.
On March 28, 2019, India initiated an anti-dumping investigation on chlorinated polyvinyl chloride originating in or imported from China and South Korea. On July 12, 2019, India made an affirmative preliminary ruling on anti-dumping in the case.
