India launches third anti-dumping sunset review investigation on caustic soda related to China

On February 7, 2020, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice stating that in response to the application submitted by the Alkali Manufacturers Association of India, the Caustic Soda originating or imported from China and South Korea was subject to Three anti-dumping sunset review investigations were initiated. The dumping investigation period of this case is from April 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019 (9 months), and the damage investigation period is from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, April 1, 2017 to 2018 March 31, 2014, April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019 and the dumping investigation period. Involves products under Indian customs codes 2815.1101, 28151102 and 2815.1200.

On May 14, 2002, India initiated an anti-dumping investigation into caustic soda originating or imported from China and South Korea. On November 22, 2007, India initiated the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on caustic soda originating or imported from China and South Korea. On December 19, 2013, India initiated the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation of caustic soda originating or imported from China and South Korea. On June 18, 2015, India made the second final anti-dumping sunset review of caustic soda originating or imported from China and South Korea.
