India launches first anti-dumping sunset review investigation against China Fluoroelastomer

On February 7, 2020, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that the first anti-dumping sunset review of the fluorine rubber [Fluoroelastomers (FKM)] originating or imported from China should be filed in response to the application submitted by the Indian domestic company Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd survey. The products involved in this case do not include compounds and perfluoroether rubber (FFKM). The dumping investigation period of this case is from January 2019 to September 2019 (9 months), and the damage investigation period is April 2016 to March 2017, April 2017 to March 2018, April 2018 to 2019 March and the dumping investigation period. Involves products under Indian Customs Code 3904.

On January 2, 2018, India initiated an anti-dumping investigation on fluoroelastomers originating or imported from China. On December 27, 2018, India made a positive final decision on the case. On January 28, 2019, anti-dumping duties will be levied on Chinese products for 18 months, and will be valid until July 27, 2020.
