Huntsman continues to increase investment in Shanghai Park

Sinochem New Network News On March 28, Huntsman and Shanghai Jinshan No. 2 Industrial Park signed an agreement to officially settle the 28,000-ton annual production of thermoplastic polyurethane rubber project in the park. It is reported that the total investment of the project is 247 million yuan. After the project is put into production, the annual sales are expected to exceed 1 billion yuan.

Pan Lumin, President of Huntsman Polyurethanes Business Unit Asia Pacific, said that the formal settlement of the project in the park shows Huntsman's commitment and confidence in the Chinese market. In 2011, the first-phase project of Shanghai Huntsman Polyurethane Special Material Co., Ltd. was settled in the park with a registered capital of 8 million US dollars. To this end, Huntsman decided to expand production in the park to further meet the needs of the domestic market.
