On March 25, 2019, U.S. Mohawk Industries, IVC and Luxembourg Flooring Industries filed an application to the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) under Section 337 of the U.S. Tariff Act 1930, accusing them of exporting to the U.S. Imported or sold in the United States plastic flooring and its components (Certain Luxury Vinyl Tile and Components Thereof) violated its patent rights, requested ITC to initiate a 337 investigation, and issued a general exclusion order and prohibition order. 19 Chinese enterprises including Changzhou Jinuo Decoration Materials Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Jingmei Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd., and Anhui Hanhua Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd. were listed as the respondent.
