EU makes final anti-dumping sunset ruling on China's persulfate

On January 17, 2020, the European Commission issued an announcement to make the second final anti-dumping sunset review of peroxosulphates (including Potassium Peroxymonosulphate Sulphate) originating in mainland China Anti-dumping duties imposed by companies involved in Mainland China: 0% for ABC Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., United Initiators Shanghai Co., Ltd. ) Is 24.5% and 71.8% for other companies in Mainland China, effective from the day after the announcement. The EU (Combined Nomenclature) codes of the products involved are 2833 4000 and ex 2842 9080 (TARIC code is 2842 90 80 20).

On October 11, 2007, the EU made a final anti-dumping ruling on persulfate in China, the United States and Taiwan and began to formally levy anti-dumping duties. On December 12, 2013, the EU extended the anti-dumping duties on products involved in mainland China for the first time. On December 17, 2018, in response to the applications from EU member companies RheinPerChemie GmbH and United Initiators GmbH, the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation was initiated against mainland China's persulfate.
