Argentina made the first anti-dumping sunset final review of PVC profiles in China

On March 26, 2020, the Argentine Ministry of Production and Development issued Resolution No. 123 of 2020 in the Official Gazette of Argentina, regarding PVC profiles for doors, windows and partitions that originated in China (Spanish: perfiles de polímeros de cloruro de vinilo, delostipos utilizados en la fabricación de aberturas o cerramientos) made the first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling: continue to maintain the current anti-dumping measures and impose a specific tax of US$0.88/kg on the product in question, valid for five years. The customs code of the products involved in the case is 3916.20.00.

On June 3, 2014, the former Ministry of Economy and Public Finance of Argentina issued Resolution No. 238/14 in the Official Gazette of Argentina to make a final anti-dumping decision on PVC profiles originating in China and Germany Anti-dumping duties of USD 0.88/kg are levied on products other than German manufacturer/exporter ALUPLAST GMBH, which is valid for 5 years. On May 27, 2019, the former Ministry of Production and Labor of Argentina issued Resolution 355/2019 in the Official Gazette of Argentina, initiating the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation of products originating in China. The dumping investigation period of the case is from May 2018 to April 2019, and the damage investigation period is from January 2016 to April 2019.
