Argentina continues to impose anti-dumping duties on sunglasses and other products

March 29, 2019,ArgentinaThe Ministry of Production and Labor issued Resolution No. 218 of 2019, deciding to end the treatment of my sunglasses, eyeglass frames and vision glassesAnti-dumpingIn the review of the changes in the sunset merger, the original anti-dumping tax rate was adjusted to: 9 minimum prices were set for 9 types of products. If the FOB price of the imported product is lower than or equal to the corresponding minimum price, each 7.1-9.31 USD Specific tax; if the FOB price of the product involved in the import is higher than the corresponding minimum price, an ad valorem tax of 154% will be levied for a period of 2 years. The tax codes of the products involved in the case are: 90031100, 90031910, 90031990, 90049010 and 90041000.
