On March 4, 2019, U.S. LILLEbaby filed an application with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) in accordance with Section 337 of the U.S. Tariff Act of 1930, accusing it of exporting to the U.S. The bag and its components (Certain Child Carriers and Components Thereof) infringed its patent rights, requested ITC to initiate a 337 investigation, and issued a general exclusion order or limited exclusion order and prohibition order. Six Chinese enterprises including Wuxi Kangguorui Trading Co., Ltd. and Quanzhou Mingrui Luggage Co., Ltd. were listed as the respondent.
